By accessing or using ProfePreps ("the Service") at profepreps.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ProfePreps is an AI-powered lesson planning tool designed for Spanish and French language teachers. The Service generates ACTFL-aligned lesson plans, substitute plans, slide decks, and related instructional materials based on inputs provided by the user.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for use by adult educators (18 years of age or older). By using ProfePreps, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. The Service is not intended for direct use by students.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ProfePreps only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate content that is harmful, abusive, or violates any applicable law
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce the Service's underlying systems or prompts
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose other than your own classroom or school use without our prior written consent
  • Share account credentials with others or resell access to the Service

6. AI-Generated Content

ProfePreps uses artificial intelligence to generate lesson plan content. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for every classroom context
  • You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and determining the suitability of any content before using it with students
  • ProfePreps is a starting point and professional tool — final instructional decisions remain your responsibility as the educator

7. Intellectual Property

The ProfePreps platform, branding, design, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of ProfePreps. The lesson plan content you generate using the Service is yours to use for your own educational purposes. We do not claim ownership over the output you create.

8. Subscription and Payment

ProfePreps offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis depending on the plan selected. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the content generated will meet your specific requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ProfePreps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
