ProfePreps ("we," "our," or "us") is a lesson planning tool designed for Spanish and French language teachers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service at profepreps.com (the "Service").

2. Who We Are

ProfePreps is an educator-built tool created to help world language teachers generate ACTFL-aligned lesson plans. Our Service is intended for use by adult educators. We do not knowingly collect data from or about students.

3. Information We Collect

  • Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address.
  • Usage data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including lesson plans you generate, features you access, and the inputs you provide (such as vocabulary lists, grade level, and topic selections).
  • Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your credit card or billing details directly.
  • Technical data: We may collect basic technical information such as your browser type, device type, and IP address for security and performance purposes.
  • Behavioral and Session Data: We use session recording technology to capture how visitors interact with our Service, including mouse movements, clicks, scrolling behavior, and pages visited. This data is collected to improve the Service and is processed by Base44. Session recordings do not capture passwords or payment information. By using the Service, you consent to this collection. ProfePreps uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate lesson plan content. When you submit inputs to generate a lesson plan, that information is processed by Anthropic's API. Anthropic's use of data is governed by their own privacy policy, available at anthropic.com/privacy.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or behavioral tracking.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and lesson history for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at the email address below. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed from our active systems within 30 days.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to:
